ReplyDeleteWe are not quite ready to take the plunge with an iPad but Santa has picked up an iPod touch for a lot less money - worth looking at if the smaller screen isn't a problem (and you want a forward facing camera for skype, etc).
The app that I am most excited about is Dragon Dictation - it turns spoken words into text with pretty good accuracy. Combine that with a word processor or email and it opens up all sorts of possibilities, including for school work... and it's FREE!
